Icefields Parkway, also known as Highway 93, south of Jasper, Alberta, Canada. I was on my way from Jasper to the Columbia Icefield along the amazing Rocky Mountains and stopped in the middle of almost nowhere to take this picture, as there was not a lot of traffic.

Maligne Lake is located in Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada. It is wellknown for the colour of its water, the surrounding peaks, the three glaciers visible from the lake. Unfortunately there was still a lot of smoke from the wildfires and I arrived too late to take the tour to Spirit Island, a frequently photographed islet.
